Unleash the better angels of our nature.

In 2024, we hold these truths to be self-evident:

  • Human nature is immutable, and all attempts to change it are doomed to fail.
  • Most of society's ills stem from the Left's intentional perversion of Christian principles. See Alinsky's Rule No. 4.
  • Most sane people already have a religion and do not need tyrannical Leftism as a substitute for lack of faith.
  • The only hope Western civilization has against the fascist socialists is that their every attempt to create the New Soviet Man has ended in complete failure. But at what a terrible cost...
  • Everything the government now does is to make your life harder, more expensive, more restrictive, and more miserable.
  • Nobody voted for Joe Biden for Dictator.
  • No one with a law degree should ever be eligible to run for state or national elective office.
  • America's enemies within are more dangerous than her enemies without.
  • Congress can abolish the entire federal judiciary except the Supreme Court any time it wants. Maybe it should start.
  • Once you define crime as mental illness, crime disappears but not its results.
  • There is no such thing as "man-made global warming." You could look it up.
  • Regarding human ingenuity, there is no such thing as "peak" anything.
  • Regarding "fossil fuels," cars, stoves, washing machines, dishwashers, showers, toilets. if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
  • No sane person wants or needs an electric vehicle.
  • Total victory is the only way to fight any war.
  • The Ukrainian lobby in the U.S. has a lot to answer for.
  • The only Forever War that matters is the war of Islam against the unchurched West. It will continue until one side wins.
  • Some people still say the Crusades were a mistake.
  • Civic unrest in America regarding the "Palestinians" today is the result of George W. Bush's abject failure to prosecute the Battle of 9/11. Instead, he criminalized 300 million Americans with the TSA and the Patriot Act instead of eliminating the root cause of "terrorism."
  • They're not "migrants," they're invaders.
  • Until further notice, all Chinese "students" and nationals in the U.S. should be registered as agents of a hostile foreign power.
  • TikTok, a Chinese spy/psyop, makes young women crazy.
  • There's no such thing as "your" pronouns. Our common language is not amendable by the mentally ill.
  • The shrieking "woke" women demonstrating on the streets of every Western nation are proof positive of the existence of harpies.
  • Women who feel their own men can't or won't protect them will always side with the enemy.
  • Women should no more be expected to die in combat than men should be expected to die in childbirth.
  • Bring back the peacetime draft for all males aged 18-24. They're not going to college anyway.
  • The major American universities are hotbeds of fraudulence. They should be dissolved, their teaching ranks purged, their administrators blacklisted, their tuition refunded and their endowments confiscated to pay off student loans.
  • The purpose of the European Union, like that of the U.S.S.R., is to destroy the independent nation-state.
  • Every voting "reform," such as ranked choice and jungle primaries, leads in only a single direction, toward the creation of the one-party state.
  • The more they talk about "our democracy," the faster they mean to get to mob rule, whose end result is always dictatorship.
  • They never stop, they never sleep, they never quit.
  • We're living in Chinatown, where the bad guys always win.

  1. The world is divided between makers and takers.
The higher the proportion of makers in a society, the more successful it is.
    Successful societies draw takers.
Takers infiltrate and corrupt all elements of society.
Takers relentlessly manufacture reasons why they should get what others have earned (communism, DEI, reparations, etc.).
Takers are parasites that do not stop until the host is dead.

  2. I don't own an EV, but was recently thinking of buying one for a country home. Because if everything goes south, I could see fuel getting hard to come by. But with an EV, solar panels, and batteries I could probably get by for a while. But I recognize that EVs are not generally a long term solution.

  3. Personal pronouns are last year's woke. I won't submit to using their pronouns and use adjectives and verbs to label the snow flakes and loonies; like deranged, psychotic, disturbed, irrational, brainless, mindless, and just plain ignorant.

  4. I have to admit that I did not serve in Our Military. I was drafted my second year in college (1971) but due to high tone deafness and 20/200 vision I was not accepted. I have two Brothers who didn't have these issues and both served right out of HS and at age 18! Now as far as the draft. It's evident that so many young men and women have no discipline nor sense of value. Serving two to four years in Our Military would provide that for them during the years that usually foretell a person's life trajectory! Giving kids the discipline and TRAINING that they need to be a constructive human would be a BLESSING for many! I have a very troubled Grandson, age 25, no future due to poor life choices and I've tried to get him to TRY to join. I'm sure it would do him some good - tried to get him to join when he graduated from HS but he's always known more about everything than me!

  5. Under no circumstances re-implement the draft. You all know the reasons why. It's pointless to force someone to defend that which they voluntarily won't defend and you don't want yourself or your grandson in a foxhole with someone who doesn't want to be there. It's everyone's fault since (and including) the Greatest Generation that society has devolved to the point where the latest generation won't defend it. Start fighting to make it worthwhile again.
But I like the rest of the observations.

  6. "Every voting "reform," such as ranked choice and jungle primaries, leads in only a single direction, toward the creation of the one-party state."

What about Term Limits? I would include them with RCV and jungle primaries, but I wonder what you think.

    (Excellent list, BTW)

  7. Not a bad list, though I would quibble with 2 of them, 1st my desire for an EV has nothing to do with global warning, just the fact I keep a diesel, gas, and and EV for some not so obvious reasons, 2nd Given todays DEI military I am strong against a draft of young men, fix the DEI crap in the military and yeah, go for it.

  8. Great list. The only item I take issue with is re-instituting the draft. After the woke is thoroughly purged from all military branches, sure. But not before.

  9. "Regarding human ingenuity, there is no such thing as "peak" anything."

Corollary: Regarding human stupidity, there is no such thing as "peak" anything.
