The Gray Lady of Davos.

Ashley Rindsberg is an investigative journalist and the author of The Gray Lady Winked: How The New York Times’s Misreporting, Distortions & Fabrications Radically Alter History. We spoke in London last September, on the occasion of the publication of Against the Corporate Media: 42 Ways the Press Hates You, to which he contributed an essay on the New York Times. We discussed the history of the most important newspaper in the U.S., the changing motivations behind its news coverage, and its move toward outright advocacy instead of dispassionate journalism.
